I had the pleasure of staying at NOW Jade for a few nights. Unfortunately, bad weather always seems to follow me on these things (you’ve probably noticed the fact that many of my resort photos show dark, cloudy skies!). But the resort certainly did not disappoint!
NOW Jade is a AAA Four Star Diamond winning resort located in the Mayan Riviera, about 12 miles from the airport in Puerto Morelos. It has 550 elegantly appointed suites. It is family friendly and sits on a 2600′ stretch of white sand beach.
It has 8 gourmet dining options including French, Asian, Italian, Mexican, Seafood and more. It has 24 hour room and concierge service.
There is a vast variety of locations for your wedding! The beach area holds up to 200 guests as does the Garden area, and the El Patio Terrace. For smaller ceremonies and/or receptions there is the Pergola Deck (in a photo below), the Pool Terrace, around the fountain as well as a private oceanview room (Bamboo Room) that accommodates up to 80 guests. For a covered reception up to 120 guests, consider taking over Castaways Restaurant.
NOW Jade offers the same wedding packages as the other NOW resorts in Mexico from the complimentary “Your Moments” package to the “Beyond Memorable” package which is their most comprehensive for weddings up to 100 guests.
NOW Jade also offers South Asian destination weddings withe their standard Dulha & Dulhan package ($7500 USD) or Shaadi package.
This resort is a great choice for LGBT destination weddings. You can find examples of some of the same sex destination weddings they have hosted online.
It is unfortunately not suitable for Catholic destination weddings as there is no onsite Catholic wedding chapel.
