NOW Sapphire is a 488 room, 5* property located in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Specifically it is near Puerto Morelos. It is a AAA Four Diamond award winner. It is family friendly (even has a new waterpark) with 3 pools, 5 bars and 8 restaurants (including all the usual suspects like French, Italian, Mexican, Asian, etc.)
This is one of my favourite locations for weddings to be quite honest. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that my brother had his destination wedding there but also because it’s a fantastic property with amazing staff and is just overall great at a moderate price point. Definitely will please a wide range of destination wedding guests!
They are super accommodating for destination weddings and will go out of their way to assist you making your wedding vision come to life! They also offer South Asian destination weddings (their standard Indian destination wedding packages), LGBT destination weddings and Jewish destination weddings. For a Catholic destination wedding transportation can be arranged to a church in town and then guests can return to the resort for the reception.
Unfortunately it was a cloudy day when I went to visit so the sun didn’t help make my photos as glorious as they could have been but you’ll get the idea! 🙂 They had a Hindu wedding setup overlooking the beach and then a separate destination wedding ceremony and reception setup on their terrace area for us to check out and one simple ceremony setup at their large stone gazebo off the lobby.
